Great Room Inspiration

I'm looking for that cottage farmhouse feel and want to track this process of searching for design ideas. I'm thinking of slipcovered sofas and chairs and comfortable pillows. The interior design has to be relaxed and the architecture timeless.


This is the great room from the movie "Something's Gotta Give", I'm loving it, the striped carpet is beautiful and the contrast is in the wood and paint is just what I'm wanting

So comfy, I could sit here with a magazine and cup of tea all day!

Peaceful relaxation - I like the wainscoting on the walls.
